Assen European Green Leaf 2027 - Healthy Urban Living

In 2027, Assen is European Green Leaf City. For us, Green Leaf is more than a title. It is an opportunity to connect what is already happening across the city, learn from others and share our experiences with Europe. We believe that real change does not always start with big plans. It often starts small: with an idea from a resident, a school, a neighbourhood, a business or a local organisation. With short lines between people, partners and government, we can connect these ideas, help them grow and turn local action into lasting impact. From citizens measuring air quality by bike to neighbourhood energy initiatives, greener streets, climate-resilient public spaces and new ways of making healthy choices easier. That is Healthy Urban Living the Assen way.
